Purpose and Scope of the Information Notice

As ÜNLEM BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş, we take measures to protect your personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as ‘KVKK’ or ‘Law’). We process your Personal Data in accordance with the KVKK and relevant legislation and as the “data controller” for the reasons and by the methods explained below. In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (‘Law No. 6698’), your personal data may be processed by the data controller (‘Company’) within the scope described below.

Method of Collection and Legal Basis for Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing or electronically, by automated or non-automated means, through visitor entry forms, security camera recordings and similar methods, using tools employed within the Company to carry out its activities. Your personal data may be processed within the time frame specified in the legislation or envisaged by the processing purposes and may be stored in both digital and physical environments. Your personal data may be processed in accordance with the purposes set out under the heading ‘Your Processed Personal Data and Processing Purposes’ and within the scope of Article 5(1) of Law No. 6698, provided that explicit consent is obtained or in accordance with Article 5(2), which states:
a) It is expressly provided for by law,
ç) Necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations,
e) Necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right,
f) Necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, your personal data is processed within the scope of the conditions for personal data processing.

Your Processed Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed by ÜNLEM BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş. within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 for the purposes of ensuring security and public order in our premises, managing access records, and fulfilling obligations arising from legislation. Your processed personal data may be transferred to legally authorised persons and parties within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law No: 6698. Personal data is processed securely and in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law. In this context, the following data are collected as personal data:
Identity: This is the data group containing information about the person's identity. (E.g. Name, Surname, Turkish ID Number)
Physical Premises Security: This data category refers to data types such as employee entry and exit records and camera recordings. (e.g. Camera image recordings)
Transaction Security: This data category refers to data types such as IP address information, website entry and exit information, and password information. (e.g. Log records, IP Addresses)

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • To ensure the security of our company
  • To keep visitor records
  • To control visitor entry and exit
  • To ensure rapid and effective intervention in emergencies
  • To fulfil obligations arising from legislation
  • To conduct activities in compliance with the legislation and, in this context, to fulfil the Company's obligations, particularly under the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications Made on the Internet and the Fight Against Crimes Committed Through These Publications, and the Remote Contracts Regulation
  • Execution of loyalty processes related to the Company/products/services,
  • Monitoring and execution of legal affairs and, in this context, preparation of invoices, delivery notes and similar documents required for sales,
  • Carrying out communication activities and, in this context, fulfilling the Company's rights and obligations arising from the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce,
  • Carrying out/monitoring business activities,
  • Receiving and evaluating suggestions for improving business processes,
  • Carrying out after-sales support services for goods/services,
  • Conducting goods/services sales processes,
  • Conducting goods/services production and operational processes,
  • Conducting customer relationship management processes,
  • Conducting activities aimed at customer satisfaction,
  • Carrying out goods/services sales processes,
  • Carrying out goods/services production and operational processes,
  • Carrying out customer relationship management processes,
  • Carrying out activities aimed at customer satisfaction,
  • Conducting marketing analysis studies and, within this scope, carrying out work to improve the user experience on the website,
  • Conducting advertising/campaign/promotion processes,
  • Conducting risk management processes,
  • Conducting contract processes,
  • Ensuring the security of company information systems and, within this scope;
  • Conducting information security processes,
  • Managing access permissions,
  • Tracking requests/complaints,
  • Managing product/service marketing processes and, within this scope, displaying products that interest the Visitor, monitoring the Visitor's movements on the web page,
  • Providing information to authorised persons, institutions and organisations.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to legally authorised public institutions and organisations, to our solicitors for the purpose of resolving legal disputes, and to legally authorised private individuals. Furthermore, it may be transferred to data processors within the country and abroad, provided that the necessary technical and administrative measures are taken.

Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, the following rights are defined for data subjects:

  • To learn whether your personal data has been processed
  • To request information regarding the processing of your personal data
  • To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose
  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred within or outside the country
  • To request the correction of your personal data if they have been processed incompletely or incorrectly
  • Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
  • Requesting that third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred be notified of any rectification, deletion or destruction of your personal data
  • To object to a result being produced against you solely through the analysis of processed data by automated systems
  • To request compensation for any damage suffered as a result of your personal data being processed unlawfully.

Personal Data Processing Period and Retention Period

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the data processing and limitation periods stipulated in all relevant laws and other legal regulations applicable to the company's headquarters and units, limited to the purposes specified in this Information Notice. In the event of any changes to the data processing periods stipulated in the laws, the newly determined periods will apply. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the principle of purpose limitation, i.e. for the purposes specified in this Information Notice and, in any case, for the period required by law and the company's commercial practices. Once these periods have expired, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Application Methods Within the Framework of the Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 13(1) of the Personal Data Protection Law, you may submit your request to exercise the rights mentioned above in accordance with the ‘Communication on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller’ published on 10 March 2018, 30356, published on 10 March 2018, entitled ‘Communication on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller,’ in accordance with the methods specified in the ÜNLEM BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş.
